Chahinkapa Pool
Chahinkapa Pool in Wahpeton is located on Seventh Avenue and Second Street North, within walking distance of our 720 Dakota Ave. apartments, our 401 Third Street N. apartments and our 621 Third Ave. N. apartments.
The Wahpeton pool is a public outdoor swimming facility that offers swimming lessons and open swim throughout the summer. Open swim is daily from 1:15 to 4:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The daily rate is $3 per person or $10 per family. The wading pool is $1.50. Lap swim is available from noon to 1 p.m. for a $15.98 annual pass.
The pool has diving boards, a kiddie pool, a 178-foot long water slide and concessions. Seasonal passes are available to use the pool for $90 per family, $45 for one person or $20 for the wading pool. Private pool rental is also an option on weekends from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., 10 a.m. to noon and 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
