Leach Public Library
Leach Public Library is located in Wahpeton at 417 N. Second Ave. near our 403 Third St. N. apartments, our 621 Third Ave. N. apartments and our 720 Dakota Ave. apartments. The library has a children’s area, an adult area and a teen area. It is handicapped accessible to all three levels of the building. The library is free to all residents of Richland County and all Lake Agassiz Regional Library users. Others may purchase a library card for $10 that is good for two years.
The library offers Internet access on six computers. A fax machine, copy machine and meeting room are also available. The local newspaper is archived on microfilm all the way back to 1860. Other databases are accessible such as the Richland County Township Histories.
The Library Board meets every third Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. These meetings are open to the public. For more information, call the library at 701.642.5732.
