    North Dakota State College of ScienceNorth Dakota State College of Science is a two-year public college that offers degrees in more than 80 areas of study ranging from technology to science to general education. NDSCS offers a university atmosphere to its students with dorms, music groups, clubs, theater and athletics.

    NDSCS was founded in 1903 and is part of the North Dakota University System. It plays an important part in the local economy by adding $34.7 million in spending to the Wahpeton, N.D, and Breckenridge, Minn., communities. The college adds to the industrial development for the area by offering training courses in industry.

    About 2,500 students are enrolled full time at NDSC, and another 500 are enrolled part time. The college employs about 300 faculty and staff.
