Wahpeton Middle School
Wahpeton Middle School was built in 1988 and is the public school for grades six, seven and eight. It enrolls about 375 students per year with 29 teachers and five teaching assistants. The school is located at 1209 Loy Ave. near our 1120, ll01 and 1110 Loy Ave. apartments. The school’s mascot is the husky.
The mission of the Wahpeton Public School District is to provide the curriculum, learning activities and environment necessary for students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade to reach their potential, achieve success and better the global society, according to the district’s web site.
